After much thought and consideration, we've decided to pause our annual production sale this year. Our public events have been a great way to connect and promote Murray Grey cattle, but right now we have volunteer projects that need our full focus. These efforts reach beyond our own herd, and we want to give them the attention they deserve to make the greatest impact.
With today's cattle market, we've also culled a bit heavier and will be retaining more bred heifers. We've always believed in offering only the best, and taking this pause will help us continue that standard.
We will have a few older B-type cows and some long yearling bulls available private treaty. As email subscribers, you are first to receive information on these offerings.

2024 STILLWATER SALE REPORT
This sale was one for the books, with Murray Grey females selling strong. We want to thank everyone for their support and participation in making this sale a success.

Thank you for taking part in our first annual Murray Grey sale. This sale has been in the works for a long time, and we are so thrilled to see it finally come to life. Whether you are new to Murray Greys or adding to your herd, we think you'll find something you like here in our sale.
SALE DAY IS NOVEMBER 1ST FROM 6AM-7PM MST, we are offering a flexible pickup window of 30 days following the sale with many free drop off points, as well as diesel only delivery points. Images of cattle, negative BVD results, pregnancy confirmations, breeding soundness exams, vaccinations & dewormer were all performed between 10/04-10/18. We have taken many steps to allow you to bid confidently. We are happy to answer any questions you may have about the lots, and help identify the animals that'll best suit your program. Cattle are open for in person viewing between now and sale day on November 1st. Please be sure to refresh your page often on sale day for real time updates. CONSIGNER TERMS:
INCLUDED IN SALE: Consigner to provide all health certificates, travel documents, brand inspection, and vaccine requirements to ship with purchase. Consigner to provide registration certificate transfer and membership when needed to the American Murray Grey Association.
INTERNATIONAL: US funds and delivery, with international service only to Canada where permitted.
INVOICING: Invoices will be sent via Quickbooks to the email provided in your bidder registration. Payment can be made via ACH, debit or credit.
SIGHT UNSEEN GUARANTEE: 100% satisfaction guarantee on all orders handed by Stillwater Ranch immediately upon receiving of animal.
FIRST YEAR BREEDING GUARANTEE: Bulls and heifers to be sound for their first breeding season, for 90 days after first turnout. Heifers and bulls that do not remain sound or breed in their first 90 day season, consigner will pay the difference between price paid and market price, or provide like kind replacement. Females bought as bred; if pregnancy is lost due to shipping/handling, buyers will be refunded $400 of purchase price or offered like kind replacement.
TERMINATION OF SALE: Consigner retains the right to refuse sale of animal for any reason at their own discretion.
BUYERS RISK AT TIME OF SALE: The risk of loss or injury passes to the buyer as soon as it is sold. Consigner to provide safe housing, care, and feed for animals free of charge until loaded for shipment.
CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION: A certificate of registration to the American Murray Grey Association will be transferred and mailed to the buyer following the sale and receipt of full payment.
TRANSPORT EXPENSE: Expense occurred for transporting an animal claimed to be a non-breeder will be the responsibility of the buyer. Consigner will not be held liable for a refund price exceeding the purchase price of the animal/s.
PICKUP DISCOUNT: A $50 discount per animal for those picked up from the ranch within 10 days of sale.
FREE DELIVERY: Free delivery to: Missoula, MT, Billings, MT, Pocatello, ID, Bloomington, ID.
DIESEL ONLY DELIVERY: Diesel only delivery, shared between load to: Boise, ID, Sheridan, WY, Spokane, WA, Cheyenne, WY.
TRANSPORT: Further transport arrangements can be arranged, consigner will make effort to assist with further transport options to centralized areas. Please contact us before the sale if you plan to ship further than our delivery zones.
