Thank you for your interest in our 2026 Silver & Gold Murray Grey Sale. Whether you are new to Murray Greys or adding to your herd, we think you'll find something you like here in our sale!

SALE DAY IS NOVEMBER 7TH FROM 6AM–7PM MST

We are offering a flexible pickup window of 30 days following the sale, with many free drop-off points, as well as diesel-only delivery points.

We have taken many steps to allow you to bid confidently. When you purchase cattle from Stillwater Ranch, you can be assured that we stand behind the animals we raise. We have been genetically testing, tracking performance, and developing our breeding program for over a decade. Our cattle are raised with an emphasis on soundness, longevity, practical performance, and honesty.

Raised on Forage, Developed for Performance

Our cattle have not been raised on grain or starch-heavy rations. We believe in developing cattle on forage, without excessive condition, so they are better prepared to transition into your management without falling apart.

Every animal in this sale has spent the summer on grass pasture, with most grazing at elevations above 7,000 feet. The cattle you see are presented in their working condition, not artificially fed to appear heavier or more developed than they are.

We take every step possible to provide you with a healthy, productive new herd member, and stand behind the cattle we sell.

STILLWATER SILVER & GOLD MURRAY GREY SALE TERMS & CONDITIONS:

By submitting a bid or purchasing an animal through the Stillwater Ranch Annual Murray Grey Sale, the buyer agrees to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. ANIMAL & REGISTRATION DOCUMENTS

Stillwater Ranch will provide all health certificates, required travel documents, brand inspection documentation, and vaccination requirements necessary for shipment of the animal to the buyer.

Stillwater Ranch will also provide the appropriate registration certificate transfer and membership documentation to the American Murray Grey Association, when applicable.

All animals will be represented honestly and to the best of Stillwater Ranch's knowledge.

Buyers are encouraged to review all available information and contact Stillwater Ranch with questions prior to bidding.

2. U.S. SALES & INTERNATIONAL PURCHASES

All purchases must be paid in U.S. funds.

International sales and delivery are available only to Canada, where permitted by applicable health, import, transportation, and regulatory requirements. Buyers are responsible for any additional costs associated with international transportation, import requirements, testing, permits, or other requirements unless otherwise specifically stated.

3. INVOICING & PAYMENT

Following the sale, buyers may choose between the following payment options:

● Stripe: (preferred) Payment may be made directly through the auction website using the payment methods offered through Stripe.

● QuickBooks: Upon request an invoice will be sent through QuickBooks to the email address provided during bidder registration. Payment may be made by ACH, debit card, or credit card through the available QuickBooks payment options.

• Check at Pickup: Available to those who pick up their cattle from the ranch within 10 days of auction end.

Full payment is required according to the payment terms provided with the sale.

Animals and registration documents will not be released until payment has been received in full.

4. SIGHT-UNSEEN PURCHASE GUARANTEE

Stillwater Ranch stands behind the animals offered in this sale.

Animals purchased sight unseen are guaranteed to arrive in satisfactory condition and substantially as represented at the time of sale. The buyer must inspect the animal promptly upon arrival and notify Stillwater Ranch of any material concern as soon as possible.

Any claim under this guarantee must be made promptly following receipt of the animal and may require appropriate documentation.

This guarantee applies to the condition and representation of the animal at the time of sale and does not cover injuries, illness, weight loss, reproductive changes, or other conditions arising after the animal has been delivered to the buyer or placed under the buyer's care.

5. FIRST-YEAR BREEDING GUARANTEE

Bulls and heifers are guaranteed to be physically sound and capable of normal breeding activity for their first breeding season, for a period of 90 days following first turnout.

If a bull or heifer fails to remain sound or fails to breed during its first 90-day breeding season, Stillwater Ranch will, at its option:

● provide a like-kind replacement animal; or

● pay the difference between the original purchase price and the current market value of the animal.

The buyer must notify Stillwater Ranch promptly when a breeding problem becomes apparent. Stillwater Ranch may require examination by a licensed veterinarian and appropriate documentation before a claim is settled.This guarantee does not cover reproductive failure resulting from injury, accident, disease, mismanagement, inadequate nutrition, improper care, or other circumstances occurring after the animal has been transferred to the buyer.

6. PREGNANCY GUARANTEE

Females sold as confirmed bred are guaranteed to be pregnant at the time of sale.

If a confirmed pregnancy is lost as a direct result of transportation or handling associated with the sale, the buyer will receive either:

● a $400 refund from the purchase price; or

● a like-kind replacement, at Stillwater Ranch's option.

The buyer must notify Stillwater Ranch promptly if pregnancy loss is suspected or confirmed. Veterinary documentation may be required.

This guarantee does not extend to pregnancy loss resulting from circumstances unrelated to sale transportation or handling.

7. TERMINATION OF SALE

Stillwater Ranch retains the right to withdraw or refuse the sale of any animal at any time prior to completion of the transaction.

8. RISK OF LOSS

Risk of loss, injury, or death passes to the buyer immediately upon the animal being sold.

Following the sale, Stillwater Ranch will provide reasonable care, feed, and safe housing for the animal at no charge until the animal is loaded for shipment or picked up by the buyer or the buyer's designated transporter within 30 days of sale.

Once the animal has been loaded for transportation, responsibility for the animal rests with the buyer, including transportation-related risk and expense, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

9. CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION: 

A certificate of registration to the American Murray Grey Association will be transferred and mailed to the buyer following the sale and receipt of full payment.

If you are not a current or former AMGA members, your purchase will come with a complimentary gift membership.

10. TRANSPORT EXPENSE:  Expense occurred for transporting an animal claimed to be a non-breeder will be the responsibility of the buyer.  Consigner will not be held liable for a refund price exceeding the purchase price of the animal/s.

11. PICKUP DISCOUNT:  A $50 discount per animal for those picked up from the ranch within 10 days of sale.

12. FREE DELIVERY:  Free delivery to: Missoula, MT, Billings, MT, Pocatello, ID, Bloomington, ID.

13. DIESEL ONLY DELIVERY:  Diesel only delivery, shared between load to:  Boise, ID, Sheridan, WY, Spokane, WA, Cheyenne, WY.

14. TRANSPORT:  Further transport arrangements can be arranged, consigner will make effort to assist with further transport options to centralized areas.  Please contact us before the sale if you plan to ship further than our delivery zones.
